MSC 4000 Side Mount - Electric, Power Trim
These controls provide a smooth shift/load feel and an improved aesthetics. The control utilizes a 14 pin connector wiring harness and lanyard stop switch. The power trim models incorporate a single rocker type trim/trailer switch in the handle.This control is not for use with engines that have counter rotating lower units. Older engines may require a harness adapter
SIDE MOUNT REMOTE CONTROL-14 PIN
8M0178536 - Has a handle mounted power trim switch and a 15 ft. (4.58 m) harness with 14 pin Deutsche connector and will direct connect to the engine models below without the use of an adapter harness. Ref. Throttle/shift cable Gen I - 897977A__. Throttle/ Shift cables (896143A) for MY2005 and newer 8/9.9 FourStroke outboards. 8-9.9 4 Stroke engines generation change above S/N OR192772 and new 15/20 4 Stroke engines will use Gen I series T/S Cables 2006 - 25- 300 HP 4 Stroke any engine that has the 14 pin connector from the primary harness. Gen I cables are required with this control
