Exhaust Riser Kits (Gas, Wet Joint, 2002 & Older)

Raises the height of the engines exhaust system to prevent water from entering the engine through the exhaust system. Maximum height of 9 in.(228 mm). Two different types of exhaust elbows have been used (cast iron and stainless steel). To tell which one you have, look at the elbows mounting bolts. Cast iron elbows use 4 long bolts. Stainless steel elbows use four short 1 in.(25 mm) long bolts. For MCM/MIE 8.1L engines see "Exhaust Elbow/Riser Kits (8.1L) Non-Emissions Ctrl" section.

Fits MCM/MIE/Tow Sports V-8 (305, 350, 377, 454 & 502 cid) engines with cast iron elbows (s/n 0M299999 & below); MCM V-8 (305 & 350 cid) carb engines (s/n 0M300000-0M599999) and MIE & Tow Sports carb engines (s/n 0M300000-0M316999)
