For non power trim models. All installations require a separate Ignition/Choke assembly and Throttle/Shift Cables to complete the installation. Ref throttle/shift cables 897977A__ Fits all current Mercury / Mariner outboards (without power trim), and 1993 and newer Force outboards 40 hp and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (without power trim).
The control has an adjustable throttle friction and neutral detent. Power trim models incorporate a single toggle type trim switch in handle and trim harness.
